An exploration of timeless style, travel, and the art of living.

The person behind the perspective
Maurice Jackson
Founder & Creative Director
I'm the founder and creative voice behind The Sartorial Wanderer, an independent editorial platform born from my appreciation for classic menswear, travel, photography, and culture.
Born and raised in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and having long called Brooklyn home, my perspective has been shaped by the places I've lived, the cultures I've encountered, and a lifelong curiosity for the world beyond the familiar.
Drawing inspiration from the enduring aesthetic of Ralph Lauren, my approach to style extends beyond clothing. It's an appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship, and the stories woven into the things we wear, the places we visit, and the experiences we collect along the way.
Through original photography, curated editorials, and personal narratives, I explore the relationship between fashion, travel, art, and culture. From the streets of New York to the historic cities and landscapes of Europe, my work reflects a fascination with the character of places, the romance of another era, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
The Sartorial Wanderer is ultimately an extension of my own journey—a celebration of timeless style, thoughtful exploration, and the belief that a life well traveled is defined as much by the experiences we embrace as the destinations we reach.
